Bad move in my opinion. Selling the team to Katz makes sense for several reasons...
1. Billionaire.. Forbes has him ranked as the 538th richest person on the planet.. that's more $$$ than Oprah (ranked 664)!!!
2. He is a home town guy that is a huge fan of the team!
3. He sells drugs! Not Tony Montana style but good old fashioned drugs we can all use and enjoy. You gotta sell a lot of aspirin to be the 538th richest person on the planet. (after last season I think business was REALLY good)
4. One owner means one decision maker... No committees...
5. He has more cash than Oprah!
6. Was committed to building a new arena and practice facility with much of his own money.. (beat that Cal)
7. Willing to commit money to the payroll to ensure we can overpay for as many RFAs needed to make the team as mediocre as possible!
Well that's my two cents.... Did i mention he had more money than Oprah??
